Jesus Manuel Salgado served 8
years in prison for the kidnapping
and robbing of his former
employer and his family

Correction-It was incorrectly stated that the state of California abolished the death penalty. The death penalty remains in place. The state of California has, however, placed a hold on executions.

Jesus Manuel Salgado got himself an eight year stay in the California State Penitentiary after he kidnapped and robbed his former employer who lives in Central Valley, California.

The former employer told the CBS47 folks that back in 2003 he hired Salgado to work at his trucking company.

Well, after two years, things weren’t going so hot and the employer had to let Salgado go. Salgado didn’t like being let go. Therefore, he showed his dislike by popping up at his employer’s home, with a gun in tow and a ski mask covering his face, during the “most wonderful month of the year,” December.

After popping up poorly disguised with a weapon in hand, Salgado then proceeded to kidnap the former employer, his family, and his teenage daughter’s friend in the employer’s home.

Salgado stole money and his former employer’s wife’s ring. The second he was done with all of his stealing Salgado told everybody that unless they wanted to be the worms’ and maggots’ main course, then they better jump in the pool and not use their fingers or toes to call the po’ po’.

Thinking that he had scared the fear of all the gods in them, Salgado walked confidently out the front door just knowing that 2005 Christmas would indeed be the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” for him.

Little did he know, the police would show up the next day and put a lot of stench in his mean ol’ Grinchy’s plan. Off to prison Salgado did go. From 2007 to 2015, Salgado spent his Christmas like a cage rat. Cold food! Cold bed! Cold dudes is what life was for Salgado.

Now, a person would think that with all of that cold blue surrounding him, Salgado would have learn the lesson of, “Whenever you steal from others, you steal from yourself.” But, he didn’t.

Six years after getting his freedom papers, Salgado got himself a job at another trucking company. From 2021 to 2022, Salgado worked for the Sing Family trucking company. And like he did with his former employer some 16 years ago, Salgado was given the pink slip.

Being the creature of habit he is, Salgado kidnapped and robbed the Singh Family. Only this time around, Salgado went around and gave credence to that ol’ saying, “If you lie, you’ll steal. If you’ll steal, you’ll kill.”

On Sunday, October 2, 2022, Salgado killed the Singh family. Three days later on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, a farmer found the bodies of Jasdeep Singh, his wife Jasleen Kaur and their toddler Aroohi Dheri and Jasdeep Singh’s uncle Amandeep Singh. The Merced County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Singh and charged him with “four counts of murder and four counts of kidnapping.”

Due to California putting a hold on the death penalty, Jesus Manuel Salgado will live out many of his remaning days and nights caged in a cold cell.
